At the founding assembly in Belgrade
on 4 October 2005 24 astrologers from Serbia, Monte Negro, Croatia,
Bosnia and Herzegovina and Italy founded the Association of Balkan
Astrologer (ABA). Association is registered with the Civil Association
Registry of the Human and Minority Rights Ministry of Serbia and
Montenegro. ABA is a non-profit and completely open society established
with the aim:
- To gather, connect and organize astrologers and astrology fans to
socialize and work together on designing and implementation of different
projects regarding astrology
- To provide expert and technical support to its members in studying and
practicing astrology
- To establish standards for studying and practicing astrology and to
affirm it in the public
- To organize (individually or in cooperation with other organizations)
gatherings, counselling, seminars as well as other forms of education and practical improvement in the field of astrology.
- To publish astrological books and other printed material, CDs and
other forms of electronic publishing
- To cooperate with other astrological organizations in the country and
abroad
- To protect rights and interests of Association's members
Bodies of the Association are the Assembly consisted of ABA's founders
and members elected by the Assembly, Administrative Board consisted of
11 members and Supervisory Board consisted of 3 members. Members of the
Administrative Board are Tatjana Velimirovic (Chairperson), Aleksandar
Djuric, Aleksandra Peric, Bojana Nenadic, Branka Stamenkovic, Domagoj
Horvat, Dragana Deh, Miroslav Odalovic, Nives Sumanovic and Predrag
Petkovic. Members of the Supervisory Board are Natasa Trivic, Radmila
Matic and Nevenka Blazik.
Within the association there are 6 working groups, namely the Publishing
Group (Tatjana Velimirovic, Domagoj Horvat), Educational Group
(Aleksandra Peric, Natasa Karalic Koprivica), Public Relations Group
(Bojana Nenadic, Miroslav Odalovic), Library Group (Dragana Deh, Predrag
Petkovic), Ethics and Democratic Procedures Group (Aleksandar Djuric,
Natasa Karalic Koprivica) as well as the Foreign Public Relations Group
(Branka Stamenkovic, Nives Sumanovic).
Among the most important tasks ABA is currently working on are
organization of international annual conferences and regular monthly
lectures. The first international astrologic conference ABA held June
9-11 in Belgrade. The preparations for the Second International
Astrology Conference ABA have already started - it is planned to hold
the conference in October 2007 and it is our wish that this conference
be one of the largest and one of the best-organized astrologic events in
this part of Europe in 2007.
One of the very important ABA projects is the draft of the Code of
Ethics - a document which will determine the ethical and other standards
for ABA members regarding studying and practicing astrology.
Association of Balkan Astrologers is also gathering literature aiming to
found an astrologic library that would be at the disposal of all the
members of Association.

standards in astrology as well as the efforts in organizing and
gathering astrologers from the former Yugoslavia and Balkans. Join the
